What is the stronger position regarding the issue of the creation of the actions of servants

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If you permit me, Allah willing, this is related to this topic. The Mu'tazilah brought Qur'anic verses, and the Jabriyyah brought Qur'anic verses. So the Mu'tazilah returned to them and said:
Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained
[Al-Muddaththir 74:38]
And the Jabriyyah said:
And Allah created you and what you do
He created you...

The Shaykh
and what you doوما تعملون
Yes.

The questioner : So the apparent meaning of the verses supports the opinion of each side.

The Shaykh : It supports the contradiction.

The questioner : We do not need to clarify this matter.

The Shaykh : This is not the place for it, may Allah reward you. But you must keep in mind, you must put in your mind the saying of the Mighty and Majestic:
If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction.
[An-Nisa 4:82]
So when you find two groups disputing and fighting, and as it was said:
"And every one claims a connection to Layla *** And Layla does not approve of that for them." Do not imagine that both of the fighting parties are right, because Allah says:
If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction.
[An-Nisa 4:82]
So the existence of this difference between two schools of thought must be judged as impossible in the Islamic Shari'ah, especially in the Noble Qur'an. But I see that I must answer with a very brief answer. What is the verse you mentioned?
Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained
[Al-Muddaththir 74:38]
.

The questioner : Its appearance is choice.

The Shaykh : No problem, and we said earlier, what is the belief of the people of the Sunnah?

The questioner : Choice and compulsion.

The Shaykh : Okay, do you now believe with us that there is choice and there is compulsion, or do you not believe?

The questioner : Definitely.

The Shaykh : Okay, so we are not Mu'tazilah. We say according to the word of Allah the Exalted. What is the verse?

Another questioner :
Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained
[Al-Muddaththir 74:38]
.

The Shaykh
Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained
[Al-Muddaththir 74:38]
Truthful is Allah. But now, does this person who acquired good and will be rewarded with good, or acquired evil and will be rewarded with evil, did he do this? How do we say? Did he do it, or did our Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, create him as a human, enabled him, measured him, and created in him the ability to act as he wishes, whether good or evil, as He the Exalted said:
Is it you who creates it, or are We the Creator?
[Al-Waqi'ah 56:59]
Yes, He is the Creator. So if we return to observing that this person who has this voluntary acquisition, that Allah the Exalted is the one who created him in this form and measured him to do good if he wills or evil if he wills, how can it be said that the human creates his action, whether it is good or evil, by himself? This is a challenge to the Greatest Creator, and this is disbelief. And therefore it came in some hadiths:
The Qadariyyah are the Magians of this community
Sunan Abi Dawud 4691Hasan (Al-Albani)
Why? Because the Majus said there are two creators, a creator of good and a creator of evil. And these people say something worse than the saying of the Majus, that every human creates his actions by himself. So if we believe in the verse and the other verses with its meaning
Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained
[Al-Muddaththir 74:38]
, it does not require us to say that the human creates his actions by creation. What is the meaning of creation? It is bringing into existence from nothing. Do we bring anything into existence from nothing?

The questioner: No.

The Shaykh : No. So their saying that the human creates his actions by himself is one of the most false of falsehoods.
