The Tabligh Jama'ah do not care about correcting 'aqidah, and the importance of purification and education

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And then, the Tabligh Jama'ah do not care about correcting 'aqidah. Why are we going around in circles in this session and that session, and all these long years? Purification and education are necessary: purifying the religion from what has entered it. The Shaykh of the Tabligh Jama'ah does not perform this obligatory duty at all. Rather, he leaves his group to do whatever they want. As they say about us in Syria: "Everyone is on their own religion, and may Allah help them." Do you understand this phrase?

The questioner : Yes, yes.

The Shaykh: This is not permissible in Islam, and the religion is advice? Where is
you command good and forbid evil
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2169Hasan (Darussalam)
? Where, where? The Tabligh Jama'ah sees a man praying according to a madhhab that is not the Sunnah, and they say, "My brother, this is not right." We do not want to divide the Muslims. If we see a Muslim brother circumambulating a grave, or even participating in the circumambulation, why do we not disapprove of it? They say it is a policy to attract him to the methodology and the group, and so on. Is this the calling of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? Allah the Exalted said in the Qur'an:
you would have almost inclined to them a little. (75) Then [if you had], We would have made you taste double [punishment in] life and double [after] death.
[Al-Isra 17:74-75]
This is the Messenger of Allah warning against inclining toward the disbelievers, even if it is a slight inclination. Now, if we see a Muslim circumambulating a grave, is this not associating partners with Allah (Mighty and Majestic)? How do we approve of this? This is a policy that aligns with the disbelievers and their methodology, and part of their policy is that the end justifies the means. So if I follow the misguided people in order to bring them closer to the religion, I am like the one who puts one foot forward and the other back. Yes, he brought him to the religion and he will pray, but his prayer and his heart are attached to shirk (associating partners with Allah) (Mighty and Majestic). So why do I not teach him the creed? And we all know that there is absolutely no difference between one sect and another, because the Qur'an, praise be to Allah, is preserved, and the calling of the messengers began with
Worship Allah and avoid Taghut
[An-Nahl 16:36]
. Does the Tabligh Jama'ah begin their calling with
Worship Allah and avoid Taghut
[An-Nahl 16:36]
? Does the Muslim Brotherhood begin with this point? Does the Tahrir Party begin with it? No, no, no. And therefore, there is no benefit from all these party politics. One person in the world, whom Allah (Mighty and Majestic) guides, can guide thousands, if not millions, because he is walking on the line and on the straight path. Therefore, we advise that there be no party politics in Islam, and that the Muslims are one ummah (the Muslim community), as He (Mighty and Majestic) said:
And thus we have made you a just community that you will be witnesses over the people
[Al-Baqarah 2:143]
. This middle ummah cannot be except by returning to what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his noble Companions were upon
They are the people whose companion does not suffer
. And I think you have a question.

The questioner : Explanation of the hadith.

The Shaykh : No problem, keep your question. I believe that most of these groups, those whose party politics and clustering we do not approve of, are sincere. But the sincere ones among them are few. I do not say that all of them are insincere; the sincere ones among them are few.
