The Shaykh’s clarification of what is obligatory upon Muslims regarding purification and upbringing.

The Shaykh : Perhaps you know that, from the past or at least recently, I do not deny the existence of Islamic groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood, the Liberation Party, or the Tabligh group, but with one condition: that they all unite on this principle which we call purification and upbringing. When the Tablighi man is with us in tawhid (the oneness of Allah) and with us in the Sunnah, he goes out, gives advice, teaches, and guides, and he has rare activity in this field, as is well known. However, if he says, “By Allah, calling to tawhid and calling to the Sunnah divides the Ummah,” or if the Muslim Brotherhood, or the Liberation group, knows nothing but politics, and that the state is the head of the pyramid and can be established without a foundation, and so on, then in that case, we do not support these groups at all. But if there is a truly Salafi group, and each faction of these imams or scholars performs a duty on behalf of another, and one performs another duty, then the desired goal is achieved.
