The Shaykh’s mention of some of the editorial correspondences that took place between him and “Hasan al-Banna”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then there is another matter: how can this be imagined? I had some editorial correspondence with Professor Shaykh “Hasan al-Banna” (may Allah have mercy on him). Perhaps some of you present remember that when “Al-Ikhwan al-Muslimun Magazine” was being published in Cairo, which is naturally issued by the “Muslim Brotherhood,” Professor “Sayyid Sabiq” began publishing his articles on “Fiqh al-Sunnah.” These articles later became a book that Muslims who adopt our methodology of following the Qur’an and Sunnah in Islamic jurisprudence benefit from. I began reading these articles, which later became the book “Fiqh al-Sunnah” by Sayyid Sabiq, before they were collected into a specific book. I noticed some points, so I wrote these observations to the magazine and asked them to publish them, and they kindly did. Not only that, but I received an encouraging letter from Shaykh “Hasan al-Banna” (may Allah have mercy on him). I am very sorry that this letter was lost from me, and I do not know where it ended up.
