Am I sinful if I mention a person with what he dislikes in my heart without speaking about it to others? Does this fall under backbiting?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Am I sinful if I mention a person with what he dislikes in my heart, meaning between myself and myself, without speaking about it to others? Does this fall under the category of backbiting?

The Shaykh : This does not fall under backbiting. However, if the soul speaks about a Muslim brother, it is better to restrain it from this talk so that this talk of the heart does not develop into talk of the tongue, and so that this does not become a matter of having a bad opinion of the Muslim. The default for a Muslim is integrity, and one should not have a bad opinion of him. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you. This is a female questioner saying to this questioner, O honorable Shaykh.
