What are the signs of the expected Mahdi? With the continuation of the debate with this man, and that the Prophet must be known by distinctive characteristics that set him apart from others

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner: The question was dropped, O Shaykh, because ... .

The Shaykh: Yes, did you not drop it?

The questioner: No, we did not drop it ... We ask, O Shaykh, for the signs of the true Mahdi so that we may discern the truth - if Allah wills - in the expected Mahdi. Clarify for us the characteristics that are clear in the hadiths so that we may know them, if Allah wills?

The Shaykh: Among the signs ... what is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the Mahdi who was promised in many authentic hadiths is his saying (peace be upon him):
The world will not end until Allah sends a man whose name matches my name, and whose father's name matches my father's name; he will fill the earth with justice and equity just as it was filled with oppression and injustice.
. This hadith gives us two signs; one of them precedes his Mahdi-ship; because from the day his mother gave birth to him, he was named Muhammad, and his father was also named 'Abdullah, where no one knew that this father was the father of the Mahdi, and that this boy named Muhammad would be in the future the Mahdi promised by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); therefore, this evidence is the first thing that shocks one who falsely claims Mahdi-ship, like our companion from the recent past, who explicitly states that his name is Khalil, while the Messenger says:
The world will not end لا تنقضي الدنيا
... .

The questioner: Even after his appearance ... and his spread ... to all parts of the Arabian Peninsula, despite the fact that they knew him as the Truthful and the Trustworthy.

The Shaykh: Abu Tariq ... .

The questioner: They did not enter Islam.

The Shaykh: This statement has absolutely no connection to the topic.

The questioner: Even this truthfulness and this trustworthiness and this good character.

The Shaykh: You have now made two mistakes; once you say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Seal of the Prophets and the Seal of the Messengers, and he has no material evidence except afterwards, and I have presented to you the material evidence by the text of the Noble Qur'an.

The questioner: No, this is not material evidence ... .

The Shaykh: This is material evidence ... .

The questioner: No, no, it is not material evidence, this is reproach ... .

The Shaykh: What does ... mean?

The questioner : Oh?

The Shaykh: ... what does it mean?

The questioner: ... he sat ... .

The Shaykh: ... material or spiritual?

The questioner: ... you see the revelation; and therefore it was sent down to him? ... .

The Shaykh: Am I telling you this?

The questioner: He did not deny ... that it was sent down to him from the sky? He did not deny ... .

The Shaykh: I seek refuge in Allah, I did not say this.

The questioner: The dispute is about the message.

The Shaykh : I did not say that.

The questioner: And about its material evidence.

The Shaykh: I did not say this, you just like to talk? I am telling you: I did not say this; and therefore I told you: Repeat to me what I said? I do not want to repeat; so it means you want to stick to your understanding and build on your wrong understanding of me and my shortcomings and go on, I am telling you: this is material evidence for the truthfulness of the Messenger (peace be upon him).

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh: Listen, listen, you do not interrupt, praise be to Allah!! You do not interrupt, be patient, I said that the Messenger (peace be upon him), Allah (Mighty and Majestic) raised him and gave him the best upbringing in the pre-Islamic society, so they knew him from the softness of his nails as truthful and trustworthy and so on, so when he said: Allah revealed to him from the sky; this is decisive evidence that the man does not lie, I am not saying they know how the revelation comes down ...
be patient, [O Muhammad], and your patience is not but through Allah اصْبِرْ وَمَا صَبْرُكَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
[An-Nahl 16:127]
, may Allah curse you with this curse ... it is not up to you, you are prolonging, we tell you: prolong as much as you wish as long as you do not like this research except with prolonging; prolong as much as you wish; you will come back and tell me: do not prolong.

The questioner: What did you do.

The Shaykh: Please... .

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh: ... I will learn from you later ... .

The questioner: Yes, do not be angry with me.

The Shaykh: Yes, how are you, this is a kind word [everyone laughs!].
-- In the name of Allah --
This is material evidence, any person, even a simple scholar, not the Mahdi of the end of time, let alone being a Prophet, let alone being a Messenger sent with a message from the sky, must have his life among people known for truthfulness and uprightness, and he is cited as an example; so that when he said to them, as came in the story of the Night Journey and the Ascension, when he was taken up (peace be upon him), they came to Abu Bakr and said to him: your companion is saying such and such. He said: Yes, I believe him in the news from the sky; I do not believe him if he said he was taken up and so on? This is reason and logic; that he lived with the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) the whole life and found him the most truthful of people, and I do not say: among the most truthful of people, so = -- drink with your right hand, may Allah bless you -- = so that was the greatest evidence that when he said: it was revealed to me, Jibril came to me and said: Read ... .

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh: We are saying, may Allah curse you this night with this affliction and you need to be patient,
and your patience is not but through Allah وَمَا صَبْرُكَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
[An-Nahl 16:127]
, okay?

The questioner: Beautiful patience.

The Shaykh: I am speaking for your benefit, I mean.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh: So when the Messenger lived among them, they knew him for truthfulness and trustworthiness, so if he said to them: a person you do not know and do not see, no, and he spoke to me with the words of the Lord of the Worlds; they should believe him, this is material evidence in this experience; therefore I brought the verse, you now, I asked you two questions; the first question is why do you deny that the Messenger has material evidence that carries the truthful and sincere people to believe in him when he said: revelation was sent down to me from the sky? Why do you deny this and this is stated in the Noble Qur'an? This is the first question, the second question is how should people believe you? People have not seen you or lived with you, and you have not lived with them, they have not seen truthfulness or lying from you, they have not seen trustworthiness or betrayal from you, overnight and suddenly, and perhaps you saw a dream at night, someone came down to you, I do not know who came down, so he revealed to you that you are the Prophet of the end of time, and you came out to people with this call by your admission without evidence, you say: you have no evidence, and the people of knowledge say a very simple word:
"And claims, unless you establish *** proofs for them, their sons are claimants"
Should we believe every person who claims a claim?! And you know, throughout the history of fourteen centuries, how many people claimed Mahdi-ship? You know, of course, you have read history, so were all of them truthful or were they liars? So beware - O my brother - that you are involved, you see a dream red, green, black, I do not know what it is, so you imagined that you are what? The Mahdi of the end of time; and therefore - may Allah bless you - scientific research has its methods and its procedures, I am telling you: the authentic hadiths that you refer to, if you have an authentic hadith, and if you know how a hadith is authentic and how it is not, they are an argument against you; and therefore I say as a testimony before people: you evaded answering the clarification of some authentic hadiths and some weak hadiths; because the authentic hadiths do not apply to you; and therefore you did not bring us even one hadith, and you even pointed to the weakening of some authentic hadiths known to the scholars, and now I want to ask you on this occasion: do you allow? I ask permission; do you allow?

The questioner: The volume.

The Shaykh: I ask you, my dear.

The questioner: I will answer you.

The Shaykh: No, it is not an answer, I am telling you: do you allow? I told you: No.

The questioner: The volume, the volume you mentioned.

The Shaykh : ... .

The questioner: ... the hadith, the lecture you mentioned, the answer to it.

The Shaykh: O people, help me, I am telling him: do you allow me to ask you a question? Tell me: No, tell me ... may Allah guide you, do you allow me to ask you a question.

The questioner: The lecture you mentioned has six hundred questions, and there are sixty answers to it ... forget it, you, and leave its impression in the minds of the listeners and ask another question different from it.

The Shaykh: I want to leave the impression in your mind, you are the one specifically intended, not the listeners.

The questioner: Please, ask the question you want, let us see what it is ... .

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you with good. After what? We want to pull it from his face... what...? Like this... the Messenger and like this the Prophet? I seek refuge in Allah, I seek refuge in Allah. The Messenger is gentle and lenient; that is, an old woman would come, take his hand, and lead him to the side of the road, and he would sit and listen to her. By Allah, you are with men who want to discuss with you, and it is not like that. Do you allow me to ask you a question?

The questioner : In any case, there is plenty of room and space.

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you with good.

The questioner: Perfect.
