What is the ruling on blood: is it pure or impure?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : It is not impure.

The questioner : It is not like that of a slaughtered animal.

The Shaykh : The drained blood is not eaten, but it is not impure.

The questioner : On a certain day, O our Shaykh, we went to the slaughterhouse, and because my ihram was secondary, a little blood splattered on me. I know that there is no issue with the blood of livestock. Naturally, the young men said we had to wash the clothes or something like that. Some people said we needed to go perform the tawaf al-ifadah, and there was nothing wrong with that, if Allah wills. After we had performed the tawaf and returned, they said no. Some of them said it was impure, and some of them said there was nothing wrong with it.
