What is the ruling on raising one's voice with crying during prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student : Some imams cry during the Fajr prayer.

The Shaykh : They cry?
The student : Yes. The imam cries.

The Shaykh : Does he cry, or does he feign crying?
The student : He cries at times... so it becomes a commotion among the worshippers after the prayer. What is your opinion?

The Shaykh : By Allah, what opinion? If he is crying out of humility, may Allah reward him with good.
The student : It is out of humility, for I pray behind him and truly it is out of humility.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah. That is what we lack today in many of the reciters and imams. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
When he recited the Qur'an and stood to pray, the narrator said, he had a humming sound like the humming of a cauldron. إذا قرأ القرآن وقام يصلي يقول الراوي كان له أزيز كأزيز المرجل
(peace and blessings be upon him) used to weep, and his voice would have a hum like the hum of a cauldron when it boils. If the imam weeps out of humility, that is what we need. But if, may Allah forbid, it is showing off, that is a great problem. That is why I said, does he weep or does he feign weeping? If he weeps, then may he be blessed.

The questioner : No, by Allah, he cries.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah.
