What is the ruling on the action of one who forms a group that serves as a means to call people, and which is based on beneficial knowledge?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner: I mean, regarding the work for Islam in the current phase, if, for example, there is a place where the religion of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is taught, its creed and its Shari'ah, then this place must have a shaykh, and there are those who organize it, and it may be in another place, and in a second, third, and fourth place, to teach Islam to people.

The Shaykh : Yes, exactly.

The questioner: If there is a group of people who want to cooperate in righteousness and piety, and they consider their gathering not to be the original principle, which is Islam, their connection is always with their original work, which is Islam, and brotherhood in "La ilaha illa Allah," but they cooperate with one another, they pledge to serve Islam as Allah (Mighty and Majestic) wants, returning the Muslims to the Book and the Sunnah, holding fast to the Shari'ah of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), elevating the Muslims to the level of Islam, to the level of the mission that Islam requires of them, and to the level of the world and the era in understanding, knowledge, and accordance with the Shari'ah of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and they proceed on this path to serve Islam and call for a comprehensive faith awakening, not a narrow partisan awakening, and they consider their gathering a means to serve Islam and to exalt the word "La ilaha illa Allah," is this considered prescribed from an Islamic perspective?

The Shaykh: If you want a general statement like your statement? It is prescribed. If you want a general statement like your statement, I tell you this is a prescribed work, but is this a reality or not a reality?

The questioner: I say ... .

The Shaykh: No, no, answer the question as you asked me and I answered you, so you answer my question.

The questioner: This has aspects; in some directions they have a reality, and in other directions they do not have a reality.

The Shaykh : How?

The questioner: People who cooperate in obedience to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and in righteousness and piety, and who want to exalt the word "La ilaha illa Allah," and who consider their gathering a means and not the original principle, and the original principle is Islam, this exists now.

The Shaykh: You, may Allah bless you, did you hear me just now? I am going around the topic of beneficial knowledge and righteous work, and I think you are with us in this statement, is that not so?

The questioner : Praise be to Allah.

The Shaykh: If you permit, all the speech you are making now is based on this beneficial knowledge?

The questioner : If Allah wills.

The Shaykh: If Allah wills, and I say with you, if Allah wills, but this reminds me of the story of that noble Companion who used to stand at the door of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) at night, hoping that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) would wake up and need something and not find any of his Companions around him to fulfill it for him. This man used to stand in night prayer at the house of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), as is known from the description of the Lord of the Worlds of him, by His saying:
And indeed, you are upon a great character وإنك لعلى خلق عظيم
He destined this situation for him, so he said to him, "O so-and-so:
Ask me for what you want تمن عليَّ
Ask me for what you want." The man was wise, so he said: "Give me three days." After three days, he said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, I thought about the world and found it to be transient, and I thought about the Hereafter and saw that the people in it are two groups: a group in Paradise and a group in the blazing Fire, and I saw that the path to Paradise has degrees, so I ask you to make my Lord place me with you in Paradise." He said:
That is for you, but help me in that by prostrating frequently لك ذلك ولكن أعني على ذلك بكثرة السجود
The point of this is: what he left behind relies on the promise of the Messenger, but he said:
help me to achieve this for you by devoting yourself often to prostration أعن على نفسك بكثرة السجود
Sahih Muslim 489
So you help us, if Allah wills, by realizing this methodology.

The questioner : If Allah wills.
