The questioner : In matters of creed, is an ahad report established? And what is the response to those who say this?

The Shaykh : Naturally, the view that distinguishes between rulings, which are established by ahad hadith, and creed, which is not established except by mutawatir hadith, is a foreign philosophy in Islam that the righteous Salaf did not know. This is one of hundreds, if not thousands, of issues that confirm for us that we should call people to the Book and the Sunnah, following the methodology of the righteous Salaf. Did the righteous Salaf distinguish between a hadith that reached them through a sound chain regarding a ruling, which they accepted, and a hadith that was also established with them regarding creed, which they did not accept but rather rejected? None of this was the case at all. Rather, they applied the texts of the Shari'ah from the Book and the Sunnah, which obligate acting upon the hadith reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), without distinguishing between a hadith concerning a ruling and a hadith concerning creed. And we say, when we discuss this issue, it is certain to us that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to send messengers from his side to some of the Arab lands or some of the Arab tribes to call them to Islam. He sent 'Ali, he sent Mu'adh, he sent Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, and he sent Dhiyyah al-Kilabi. These were individuals—it is the same man who was here—... Muhammad, I say, Subhan Allah wa bihamdih, I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You.

The questioner : ... from the time of the sun's zenith to sunset.

The Shaykh : Labbaik Allahumma labbaik, labbaik Allahumma labbaik, labbaik la sharika laka labbaik, innal hamda wan ni'mata laka wal mulk, la sharika laka, labbaik Allahumma labbaik, labbaik la sharika laka labbaik, innal hamda wan ni'mata laka wal mulk la sharika laka, labbaik Allahumma laka labbaik, labbaik ilah al-haqq, labbaik ilah al-haqq, labbaik ilah al-haqq, labbaik ilah al-haqq, labbaik ilah al-haqq, labbaik ilah al-haqq. The window is open, O Abu Layla.
Abu Layla: Yes, my Shaykh.

The Shaykh : This window, the opening, is open.

The questioner : Otherwise...

The Shaykh : Otherwise the car would have exploded.

The questioner : He smashed the glass.
