Is it permissible for a woman to trim her nails during menstruation?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner asks: Is it permissible for me to trim my nails during menstruation?

The Shaykh : Yes. Trimming the nails is a recommended practice (sunnah) at any time and in any state. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set a time limit for trimming the nails, trimming the mustache, plucking the armpit hair, and shaving the pubic hair, stating that they should not be left for more than forty days. From this, we know the error of some people who leave these things for more than forty days; you will find their nails growing to an excessive length without being cut, and likewise their mustache, armpit, and pubic area. What a Muslim should do is adhere to what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) set as a limit, so that he does not leave these things for more than forty days. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
