The Shaykh’s Adhan and his recitation of Surat al-Fatihah and verses from Surat Ghafir

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner: Brother Ibrahim, let us make a supplicationThe Shaykh : He calls to prayer and teaches people how to perform the Adhan according to the Sunnah, and this is for the imams and the mu'adhdhins, or for people in general, meaning?

The Shaykh: Of course, you don’t care about the voice anymore, the voice.

The questioner : What Allah willed.

The Shaykh: First, the voice of a Shaykh, and second, the voice of a tired, exhausted Shaykh
The questioner : O my brothers, you need to pay attention to some things: first, the placement of the fingers or hands on the ears, and then the pronunciation of some of the words in the Adhan, and then the movement of the head from right to left. Pay attention to these, if Allah wills.

The Shaykh: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Hurry to prayer, hurry to prayer. Hurry to success, hurry to success. Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. There is no god but Allah.
I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, from the accursed Shaytan, from his whispering, his blowing, and his puffing
(1) In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. (2) [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds - (3) The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, (4) Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. (5) It is You we worship and You we ask for help. (6) Guide us to the straight path - (7) The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.

(38) And he who believed said, "O my people, follow me, I will guide you to the way of right conduct. (39) O my people, this worldly life is only [temporary] enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter - that is the home of [permanent] settlement. (40) Whoever does an evil deed will not be recompensed except by the like thereof; but whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - those will enter Paradise, being given provision therein without account. (41) And O my people, how is it that I invite you to salvation while you invite me to the Fire? (42) You invite me to disbelieve in Allah and associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge, and I invite you to the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver. (43) Assuredly, that to which you invite me has no [response to a] supplication in this world or in the Hereafter; and indeed, our return is to Allah, and indeed, the transgressors will be companions of the Fire. (44) And you will remember what I [now] say to you, and I entrust my affair to Allah. Indeed, Allah is Seeing of [His] servants."

(102) O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]. (103) And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided. (104) And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful. (105) And do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them. And those will have a great punishment. (106) On the Day [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black, [to them it will be said], "Did you disbelieve after your belief? Then taste the punishment for what you used to reject."

(61) Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. (62) And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude. (63) And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace, (64) And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer] (65) And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering; (66) Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence." (67) And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate (68) And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. (69) Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - (70) Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. (71) And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance. (72) And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity. (73) And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. (74) And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous." (75) Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace. (76) Abiding eternally therein. Good is the settlement and residence. (77) Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent.

(1) Nun. By the pen and what they inscribe, (2) You are not, [O Muhammad], by the favor of your Lord, a madman. (3) And indeed, for you is a reward uninterrupted. (4) And indeed, you are of a great moral character. (5) So you will see and they will see (6) Which of you is the afflicted [by a devil]. (7) Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has gone astray from His way, and He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided. (8) Then do not obey the deniers. (9) They wish that you would soften [in your position], so they would soften [toward you]. (10) And do not obey every worthless habitual swearer (11) [And] scorner, going about with malicious gossip - (12) A preventer of good, transgressing and sinful, (13) Cruel, moreover, and an illegitimate pretender. (14) Because he is a possessor of wealth and children, (15) When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples." (16) We will brand him upon the snout. (17) Indeed, We have tried them as We tried the companions of the garden, when they swore to cut its fruit in the [early] morning (18) Without making exception. (19) So there came upon the garden an affliction from your Lord while they were asleep. (20) And it became as though reaped. (21) And they called one another at morning, (22) [Saying], "Go early to your crop if you would cut the fruit." (23) So they set out, while lowering their voices, (24) [Saying], "There will surely not enter it today upon you [any] poor person." (25) And they went early in determination, [assuming themselves] able. (26) But when they saw it, they said, "Indeed, we are lost; (27) Rather, we have been deprived." (28) The most moderate of them said, "Did I not say to you, 'Why do you not exalt [Allah]?' " (29) They said, "Exalted is our Lord! Indeed, we were wrongdoers." (30) Then they approached one another, blaming each other. (31) They said, "O woe to us; indeed we were transgressors. (32) Perhaps our Lord will substitute for us [one] better than it. Indeed, we are toward our Lord desirous." (33) Such is the punishment [of this world]. And the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew.

(1) By the sky and the night comer - (2) And what can make you know what is the night comer? (3) It is the piercing star - (4) There is no soul but that it has over it a protector. (5) So let man observe from what he was created. (6) He was created from a fluid, ejected, (7) Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. (8) Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. (9) The Day when secrets will be put on trial, (10) Then man will have no power or any helper. (11) By the sky which returns [rain] (12) And [by] the earth which cracks open, (13) Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement, (14) And it is not amusement. (15) Indeed, they are planning a plan, (16) But I am planning a plan. (17) So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile.

He frowned and turned away, when there came to him the blind man [seeking instruction]. But what would be against you that you should not purify [yourself]? Or be reminded, and the reminder might benefit you? And as for he who thinks himself without need, you give him attention. But as for he who comes to you striving hard and fearing [Allah], you turn away from him. No! Indeed, it is a reminder. So whoever wills, let him remember it. In honored pages, elevated and purified, in the hands of scribes, noble and righteous. Woe to man, what has made him so sinful? From what did He create him? From a drop of sperm, He created him and proportioned him. Then He made easy for him the way. Then He caused him to die and put him in the grave. Then when He wills, He will resurrect him. No! Man will not do what he is commanded. So let man look at his food. We poured down the water in abundance, then We split the earth with its fissures, and We brought forth therein grain and grape, and herbs, and olive, and palm trees, and gardens of abundant fruit, and fruit and grass for you and your livestock. Then when the Deafening [blast] comes, on the Day when a man will flee from his brother, and his mother, and his father, and his wife, and his children, for every man among them that Day will be a concern sufficient for him. And faces that Day will be bowed down, humbled by fatigue. Those are the disbelievers, the sinners.

(1) By the sun and its brightness (2) And [by] the moon when it follows it (3) And [by] the day when it displays it (4) And [by] the night when it covers it (5) And [by] the sky and He who constructed it (6) And [by] the earth and He who spread it (7) And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it (8) And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness, (9) He has succeeded who purifies it, (10) And he has failed who instills it [with corruption]. (11) Thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression, (12) When the most wretched of them was sent forth. (13) And the messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, "[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink." (14) But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Lord brought down upon them destruction for their sin and made it equal [upon all of them]. (15) And He does not fear the consequence thereof.

And the morning brightness, and the night when it becomes still. Your Lord has not treated you with neglect, nor has He become hateful [to you]. And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? And He found you lost and guided you? And He found you poor and made you self-sufficient? So as for the orphan, do not oppress him. And as for the beggar, do not repel him. And as for the favor of your Lord, report it.
