The Shaykh : What is the first question?

The questioner : The first question: Are the hadiths found in Sunan Abu Dawud that state the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited leaning on the left side and said it is the sitting of those upon whom anger is invoked authentic?

The Shaykh : Yes, it is an authentic hadith.

The questioner : And what is the ruling on this sitting and the sitting of al-habwah, and why?

The Shaykh : You have returned to your mistake and mixed up the two questions. A good question is half of knowledge, so be calm and do not rush your question. You said, "What is the ruling on this sitting," and then you went back to leaning and added it to the first question. Finish your first question, then move on to the second question. The ruling on the sitting of leaning is clear from his saying (peace and blessings be upon him)
It is the sitting of those upon whom the anger of Allah is. إنها جلسة المغضوب عليهم
Therefore, it is not permissible in any way, absolutely.
