The questioner :
Be beautiful in your seeking.
.

The Shaykh : Yes, but what is the beginning of the hadith?

The questioner :
What is with Allah is not attained through the forbidden.
Allah is Good and He therefore, accepts only that which is good
Sahih Muslim 1015
.

The Shaykh: No.

The questioner :
Indeed, Allah commanded the Muslims with what He commanded the messengers.

The Shaykh : No, no, it is in it:
Indeed, what is with Allah is not attained through the forbidden.
but only the first part of it?

The questioner :
fear Allah and be moderate in seeking a living
Sunan Ibn Majah 2144Sahih (Darussalam)

The Shaykh : Yes:
O people, fear Allah and be beautiful in your seeking, for what is with Allah is not attained through the forbidden.
.

Another questioner
For the Holy Spirit breathed into my heart.
It is the same one.

The Shaykh
No soul will die until it has completed its provision.
Yes, indeed, this is correct:
No soul will die until it has completed its provision and its term, so be beautiful in your seeking, for what is with Allah is not attained through the forbidden.
“Be beautiful in your seeking,” meaning: take the beautiful, prescribed path to acquire wealth through lawful means.
Indeed, what is with Allah is not attained through the forbidden.
And the noble verse says:
And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.
[Al-Ma'idah 5:2]
So cooperating in sin and aggression, merely dealing in sin and aggression is a sin. So if one exploits this sin and earns from it, that is misguidance upon misguidance. To put it more clearly, if it is known to us that shaving the beard is forbidden by the Shari'ah, and a person comes and shaves his beard, this is cooperation with him in evil, not in what is right. There is no doubt that he did not cooperate with him in righteousness and piety. On top of his cooperation with him in evil, he takes a wage for it. So this is misguidance upon misguidance. So this earning is undoubtedly forbidden. And a person should not hesitate at all in this matter, because the preceding verse says:
but do not cooperate in sin and aggression
[Al-Ma'idah 5:2]
The Messenger (peace be upon him) gave an interpretation of it with some examples. So he says, for example, in the authentic hadith:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) cursed the accepter of interest and its payer, and one who records it, and the two witnesses
Sahih Muslim 1598
Why? Because they cooperated in evil.
And he said in another hadith:
Allah has cursed ten people regarding the intoxicant…
The first one is the drinker. Then he explained that the rest are all included because they were the cause of this drinker drinking the intoxicant. Without them, this drinker would not have done it at all.
The one who squeezes it, the one who is squeezed by it, the one who carries it, the one to whom it is carried, the one who sells it, the one who buys it…
Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 20:107
And so on, all of them were cursed because they were helpers in facilitating the path for this perpetrator of this evil. And so, all matters that contradict the Shari'ah fall under the generality of this verse and the indication of these specific hadiths. So if it is an evil act for a man to shave his brother's beard, it is even more evil to take a wage for this sin.
