Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Abu Abdullah Sa'id mentions in his letter and says he is twenty-eight years old. Before this time, he says, "I was being extravagant with myself, but Allah (Mighty and Majestic) guided me, and praise be to Allah."

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah.

The questioner : I want to learn religious knowledge and understand the religion. Has the time passed for me given my age, and what is the way to acquire that knowledge, especially since I work here almost all day? I ask the honorable Shaykh to provide a schedule for those in a situation like mine. May Allah reward you with good?

The Shaykh : I say, praise be to Allah who guided him, and I ask Allah for steadfastness for me and for him.

The questioner : O Allah, amen.

The Shaykh : In steadfastness upon the truth. As for his age, the time has not passed, praise be to Allah. A person does not miss the time for his repentance and return to Allah except when death overtakes him. As long as he is in the time of respite, he does not miss anything.
As for his seeking religious knowledge while being occupied all day, he can obtain letters or tapes to listen to from scholars who are trusted in their knowledge and their trustworthiness, and he can acquire what is made easy for him.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.
