Is it permissible for female students to recite al-Fatihah in congregation for the purpose of education?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : All right, the second question: Is it permissible for female students in the school to recite al-Fatihah in congregation for the purpose of education?

The Shaykh : The purpose of education should be individual, not in congregation; because when an individual reads, his error is apparent to the group, and to the teacher or female teacher. But if they all read with one voice, the error of the one who errs is lost with the correctness of those who are correct. So this is not the way of education. Add to that that this congregational recitation is a religious innovation (bid'ah), having no basis in the Sunnah. Add another point: that in many cases, congregational recitation leads to the disruption of the recitation, because the breath of the reader or readeress differs in length and shortness from those around her. Some may be able to read the verse completely with one breath, while another runs out of breath when she should not stop according to the rules of Qur'anic recitation (tajwid). Then, in order to join the people who have moved ahead in the recitation, she takes up where they reached, and she has cut off the verse and spoiled the recitation in it. Therefore, congregational recitation is not permissible under any claim they make.
