Is it permissible to uncover the face during ihram?

The questioner : This questioner is from the Arab Republic of Egypt and resides in the Kingdom. She asks in her question: What is the ruling on covering the face for a woman in the state of ihram if foreign men are everywhere, in the street, in the car, and in the Haram itself, and what is the way out of the hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
A woman in the sacred state (wearing ihram) must not be veiled or wear gloves. المرأة المحرمة لا تنتقب ولا تلبس القفازين
Sunan Abi Dawud 1826Sahih (Al-Albani)
Is it permissible to uncover the face during ihram?

The Shaykh : It is not permissible for a woman in ihram, nor for one not in ihram, to uncover her face when there are foreign men around her. Rather, it is obligatory to cover the face, even during ihram. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) mentioned that when men passed by them closely, one of them would lower her khimar over her face so that foreign men would not see her. As for the prohibition by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of the niqab, yes, he prohibited the niqab, but if there are men around her, she must cover her face. And if she covers her face in this situation, she owes nothing. Yes.
