The Meaning of the Verse: “And whoever opposes the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers…”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And from the words of our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, with which I conclude the answer to this question, is the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He:
And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination. ومن يشاقق الرسول من بعد ما تبين له الهدى ويتبع غير سبيل المؤمنين نولّه ما تولى و نصله جهنّم و ساءت مصيرا
[An-Nisa 4:115]
and follows other than the way of the believers و يتبع غير سبيل المؤمنين
[An-Nisa 4:115]
That is, the believers. Who are they, do you think? Are they the believers who have split into sects and factions, every faction rejoicing in what is with them? Or are they the first believers, the predecessors, whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) praised:
The best people are those living in my generation, and then those who will follow them, and then those who will follow the latter خير الناس قرني ثم الذين يلونهم ثم الذين يلونهم
Sahih al-Bukhari 3651
Indeed in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present [in mind]. إنّ في ذلك لذكرى لمن كان له قلب أو ألقى السمع و هو شهيد
[Qaf 50:37]
Now, bring the second question.
