And His saying, the Exalted: {And whoever opposes the Messenger after the clear proof of the guidance has been shown to him and follows other than the way of the believers, We will turn him to what he has turned to and We will cast him into the Hellfire, and evil is the destination.}

The Shaykh : Due to His saying, the Exalted:

And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him

وَمَنْ يُشَاقِقِ الرَّسُولَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ الْهُدَى

[An-Nisa 4:115]

"Opposes" means to contradict. The contradiction is called "mushaqaqah" (opposition) because each of them is in a separate part.

after guidance has become clear to him

من بعد ما تبين له الهدى

Pay attention to this condition.

and follows other than the way of the believers

ويتبع غير سبيل المؤمنين

Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things. ⁽¹¹⁶⁾ Indeed, to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death. And you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper.
