What is your opinion of the book Al-Isha'ah by al-Husayni and Al-I'da'ah by Sadiq Hasan Khan?

Abu Malik: Another question. It says in the book Al-Isha'ah by Sadiq Hasan Khan

The Shaykh: Al-Isha'ah or Al-I'da'ah, there are two books in it, Al-Isha'ah and Al-I'da'ah. Al-Isha'ah is by al-Husayni, and Al-I'da'ah is by Sadiq Hasan Khan. There is no doubt that the second book, Al-I'da'ah, is better than Al-Isha'ah because Sadiq Hasan Khan is one of the people of hadith, whereas this al-Husayni is one of the later jurists, and unfortunately, he had campaigns against those who were called, in the past and sometimes recently, Wahhabis. He had campaigns against them because he was a mufti in Makkah. The important point is that the book Al-Isha'ah gathered and summarized, but it did not pay attention to distinguishing the authentic from the weak in the narrations that it crammed and collected. In contrast, Sadiq Hasan Khan in Al-I'da'ah has some of this care in authenticating and weakening, even though he did not reach the ultimate goal in that, but it is better than Al-Isha'ah.
