Is it permissible for the follower to raise his hands when the imam recites the qunut supplication?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The first issue is raising the hands behind one who recites the qunut supplication, if he is an imam. Is it permissible for the follower to raise his hands?

The Shaykh : It is obligatory to follow the imam, whether he is correct or makes a mistake, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) generalized the matter when he said:
The Imam is to be followed إنمّا جعل الإمام ليؤتمّ به
Sahih al-Bukhari 1236
Then some specific branches came to confirm this generality. There is no need now for details; let us hear the second question, and you will hear the answer to it, if Allah wills.
