What is the ruling on one who brings a maid without a mahram?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Unfortunately, many young Muslims bring a maid without a mahram.

The Shaykh : We have recordings regarding this matter.

The questioner : No, no, they argue with arguments, saying it is a dire necessity. Of course, this is a baseless claim, but they say there is a public benefit that is built upon it: that the maid to whom I give a salary, when she sends it to her family, they live like kings. I have seen people whom poverty might kill; so what is your opinion of this argument?

The Shaykh : And does he keep people alive whom poverty might kill, while not killing people with a spiritual death? Are there no harms in employing these women?

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : They cannot deny that; therefore, repelling harm takes precedence over seeking benefit. And this is, in reality, from the whispers of Satan to mankind. He wants to follow a ruling that contradicts the Shari'ah in matters he imagines to have benefits, then he deliberately forgets the harms that result from it for the people of the household directly, let alone those far from this household. Therefore, it is part of the perfection of Islamic jurisprudence that this essential rule was established: that repelling harm takes precedence over seeking benefit. This is even if there were not matters that contradict the Shari'ah, such as looking at the forbidden 'awrah and some people being exposed to fitnah. These are all matters that are occurring, unfortunately. Therefore, the shubhah (doubtful matter), may Allah reward you, does not end, and the answer to it also hardly ends. We must adhere to the rulings of the Shari'ah, and the whispers of some people that they cast toward what is known in the religion to be not permissible do not harm us, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

The questioner : We know this, but so that you can convey the fatwa to them.

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you with good.
Abu Layla: ... we will arrange it for him.

The Shaykh : Arrange it for him.

The questioner : We are travelers, so we want ... .

The Shaykh : Please forgive us, everyone, because as you can see, talking a lot affects the cough.
Abu Layla : No problem, make it a second time.
The phone rang.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, we are well, okay.

The questioner : Riyadh is with you.

The Shaykh : Welcome.

The questioner : I am a student of knowledge in al-Kharj. I have some inquiries that I want answered, if possible?
