The Shaykh : The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to knock on the door of one of his Companions and said: and he was saying, "And upon you be peace," but the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) did not hear him. So the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: and he said, "And upon you be peace," but he did not hear him. This happened three times. When the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) did not hear the return of the greeting, he thought no one was there, so he ran to him and said, "By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I hear you and I return the greeting to you in secret, but I hope for more of the blessing from your greeting." So let your companion, or your female companion, not be of this type, is that important? ... La ilaha illa Allah.
