What is your opinion of al-Harrari al-Habashi and al-Ghumari from the perspective of hadith?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Indeed, everything has its own matter and value. Do you understand this statement?

The questioner : Do you understand this statement?

The Shaykh : Now, based on what you understand, does the glorification of Allah, His remembrance, and His magnification fall under this, or does it not?

The questioner : I do not know, to be honest!

The Shaykh : What do you do if you follow blindly with your eyes closed and walk? It falls under it.

The questioner : The other person: May Allah reward you with good.

The questioner : Now, Shaykh, there is a simple issue. There is a Shaykh we hear and read about...The Shaykh : Al-Harrari al-Habashi and al-Ghumari. What is your opinion of these two individuals from the perspective of hadith? Do they have knowledge of hadith or not?

The Shaykh : Al-Ghumari is more knowledgeable than al-Habashi, and each of them is from the people of desires and religious innovation, so their knowledge is not to be trusted. Al-Ghumari is more knowledgeable in hadith than al-Habashi. Al-Habashi has no verification and no research in the texts or the chains of narration, and so on; he merely memorizes many of the texts. As for al-Ghumari, he has many, and very many, studies; he is correct in some and wrong in some, but he has not benefited from the knowledge of hadith. His case in this regard is like that of al-Kawthari, who was more knowledgeable than all of them in hadith, but his partisanship for the Hanafi school of jurisprudence led him astray from benefiting from the Prophetic hadith.
