Is the verse (Indeed, al-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah) recited once when ascending al-Safa each time?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The verse that is recited:
Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah
[Al-Baqarah 2:158]
Is it recited at the beginning or each time?

The Shaykh : No, at the beginning.

The questioner : Only?

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : As for the hadith, when he said:
Then he did on al-Marwah what he did on al-Safa
Does this fall under the conjunction that implies it includes everything he did on al-Safa, when he said:
Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah
[Al-Baqarah 2:158]
?

The Shaykh : This implies that it should be said there, but where is the indication that it is said each time?

The questioner : Because he said:
He did on al-Marwah what he did
which is when the supplication and takbir were mentioned.

The Shaykh : We say that he should do that on al-Marwah, that is what we say, but where do we take this universality from, that it is done each time?

The questioner : Is not the takbir done each time?

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : And the verse is like it.

The Shaykh : But he said, for example, he said:
We begin with that with which Allah began
Muwatta Malik 20:130
Is this said each time?

The questioner : No

The Shaykh : It is not said. So when he said:
We begin with what Allah began with

The questioner : I say this is a verse and this is dhikr. Beginning with the verse, and dhikr is different from the verse.

The Shaykh : Yes, yes, this is understood. This is what we see, and Allah knows best. We insist that whoever has some knowledge, a person remains a scholar as long as he says, "I am in need of knowledge." If he says, "I have known," then he has become ignorant. Therefore, we are in need, if you have looked into something or benefited from your shaykhs in any way, then bring it to us, and may Allah reward you with good.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.

The Shaykh : And may He bless you.

The questioner : My intention is that repeating the verse is not prescribed.

The Shaykh : We do not see that.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
