Knowledge is of two types: an individual obligation and a collective obligation.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : As for the classification of knowledge regarding the individual Muslim, as we mentioned, it is an individual obligation and a collective obligation. It is obligatory for every Muslim to learn what pertains to his person. There are matters that are common and others that are distinct, which are realized in some people but not in others. The common matters are knowing the correct creed that was the creed of the righteous Salaf, as we mentioned; this is an individual obligation for every Muslim. Likewise, knowing the meaning of the testimony, which is the foundation of Islam with its two parts: "There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah," and then establishing the prayer. This is when each person reaches the age of accountability. As for fasting and prayer, these are obligatory. However, Hajj and zakah are matters that pertain to some Muslims, those in whom the condition of ability is met, as you know. Therefore, it is not obligatory for every Muslim to learn the rulings of Hajj, for example, or the rulings of zakah, for example, if he is poor; zakah is not obligatory upon him, nor is Hajj. But it is obligatory for him to correct his creed, to know the prayer of his Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and what pertains to it of conditions and pillars, and likewise fasting and the like. As for one who wishes to expand in seeking knowledge and does not stop at seeking knowledge from the first category, namely the individual obligation, this is undoubtedly a very broad matter and it is recommended. Our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) has encouraged the seeking of knowledge in some verses, and our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) affirmed that in many hadiths. It is sufficient for you from the Noble Qur'an the saying of the Lord of the Worlds:
Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees يرفع الله الذين آمنوا منكم و الذين أوتو العلم درجات
[Al-Mujadila 58:11]
As for his hadiths (peace and blessings be upon him), it is sufficient for you now his saying (peace and blessings be upon him), narrated in Sahih Muslim:
Whoever travels a path seeking thereby knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. من سلك طريقا يلتمس به علما سلك الله له به طريقا إلى الجنة
And this amount is sufficient for us to turn to receiving questions. Perhaps the brother, you have compared the questions, and they may be repetitive, and you choose from them, as it was said: "Knowledge, if you seek it, is much *** And life is short for its acquisition."
So prioritize the more important of them over the less important."
