Does 'Umrah have a farewell tawaf? Does the Haram have a greeting of the mosque? Is voluntary tawaf permissible?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Peace be upon you

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace.

The questioner : How are you, our Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, I am well

The questioner : Praise be to Allah.

The Shaykh : How are you?

The questioner : And may Allah keep you in good health, and all praise is due to Allah.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah.

The questioner : How are you? I hope you are well, if Allah wills.

The Shaykh : May Allah make you well.

The questioner : It is a small question, Shaykh.

The Shaykh : Please go ahead.

The questioner : Regarding 'Umrah, is there a farewell tawaf or not?

The Shaykh : There is nothing.

The questioner : There is nothing.

The Shaykh : No

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : No, no, I do not say there is none.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : You have a voluntary tawaf; increase in tawaf, and for that you have a reward.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : As for the farewell tawaf, there is none except in Hajj.

The questioner : Except in Hajj?

The Shaykh : Yes, that is correct.

The questioner : The greeting of the House, is that good?

The Shaykh: What?

The questioner : The greeting of the House?

The Shaykh : The greeting of the House is like the greeting of any mosque.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : It is only two rak'ahs.

The questioner : It is only two rak'ahs.

The Shaykh : But there is no tawaf with them.

The questioner : If one performs the tawaf as a greeting to the mosque.

The Shaykh : There is no greeting of the mosque by tawaf.

The questioner : Yes, it is only two rak'ahs.

The Shaykh : But

The questioner : May Allah bless you, Shaykh.

The Shaykh : And may He bless you.

The questioner : Peace be upon you

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. We asked, "What is above the seventh heaven?" He said, "The Throne." "What is above the Throne?" He said, "The Kerubim angels." I said to him, "What are these Kerubim angels?" He said, "Angels above the Throne." I said to him, "Is there a verse?" He said, "No." I said to him, "Is there a hadith?" He said, "No." I said to him, "Then where did you get this from?" He said, "This is how our Shaykhs in al-Azhar taught us." I said, "Subhan Allah! Your Shaykhs in al-Azhar say that creed is not established by an authentic hadith because it is ahad, and creed is not established except by a mutawatir hadith. How do you establish this creed when there is no hadith?!" In any case, I said to him, "This is not our topic. What is above the Kerubim angels?" He said, "Nothing." I said to him, "Is there no place? Did the universe end?" He said, "Yes." We said to him, "We say as the Lord of the Worlds said:
The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. الرحمن على العرش استوى
[Taha 20:5]
We did not make it in a place. By your testimony, because it is above the Throne, above the Kerubim. You followed us, heh? There is no place. The man was stunned and became silent. The point is that these people say we do not say Allah is in a place, and we do not say He is not in a place, because they think that if we say:
The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. الرحمن على العرش استوى
[Taha 20:5]
We made it in a place, far be it from Allah, Mighty and Majestic. Allah is rich above the worlds, above the universe, of course. But of course, the human mind cannot comprehend the reality of the Lord of the Worlds. No one knows the reality of His attributes and His Self except He.
