Refuting the topic of freedom that contradicts the Islamic Shari'ah.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Freedom at the expense of slavery, how? Because freedom that contradicts the Shari'ah is, in reality, slavery. Who enslaved you? Shaytan. And for this reason, Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said in al-Nuniyyah:
They fled from the slavery for which they were created, and were afflicted with the slavery of the self and Shaytan.
This is a great statement. They fled from the slavery for which they were created. What were they created for? Slavery to Allah (Mighty and Majestic). We are the slaves of Allah.
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. وما خلقت الجن والإنس إلا ليعبد
[Adh-Dhariyat 51:56]
And they were afflicted with the slavery of the self and Shaytan. Their souls and their Shaytans enslaved them until they followed their desires and followed Shaytan. For example, if the limit of joy reaches a matter that is forbidden by the Shari'ah, it must be stopped. But within the limits of the Shari'ah, it is not befitting for us to restrict the servants of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) in what Allah has made spacious for them. We all worship Allah with what? With the Shari'ah of Allah. We are not the ones who judge the servants of Allah; rather, who is the one who judges the servants of Allah? Allah (Mighty and Majestic). And whatever you differ about, its judgment is to Allah. So Allah is the Judge between His servants. Therefore, it is not permissible for a person to forbid what Allah has made lawful, nor to make lawful what Allah has forbidden. Read the verse to me? The verse of Ibn al-Qayyim.
They fled from the slavery for which they were created, and were afflicted with the slavery of the self and Shaytan.
Fine.
