The Shaykh : The first matter: regarding the blowing of the Trumpet. What is this Trumpet? This Trumpet is a horn, that is, something resembling a horn. It is very wide, and when it is blown, a tremendous sound is produced from it, causing the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth to be terrified, except for whom Allah wills. Then, after that, they are struck down, meaning they die. Then it is blown a second time, and then they will stand up, looking, meaning they will rise from their graves, looking to see what has happened.
