The Meaning of Allah's Name "Al-'Alim" and the Attribute of Knowledge

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : This is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. The All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. First, regarding the All-Knowing, we must know what knowledge is. The scholars said that knowledge is perceiving a thing as it is. Perceiving a thing as it is; that is knowledge. So, if you are with us, whoever does not perceive a thing as it is is not a scholar, and whoever perceives a thing other than as it is is not a scholar. The first is called ignorant with simple ignorance, and the second is called ignorant with compound ignorance. And whoever perceives a thing as it is is a scholar.
