The Shaykh : As for the manner, if a person worships Allah with a prescribed act of worship, in accordance with what was prescribed, but he changes the form, we say that this is not in accordance with the Shari'ah. For example, if he begins his wudu' by washing his feet, then wiping his head, then washing his hands, then washing his face, we say that this wudu' is a forbidden religious innovation and is not accepted because it contradicts the Shari'ah in its manner.
