The Shaykh : Time, time is like a person performing Hajj during 'Id al-Fitr, where the Hajj is tied to 'Id al-Adha. But this person said, "For 'Id al-Adha, I will be sent away and travel out of the country, so I will make my Hajj during 'Id al-Fitr." So he stood at 'Arafah on the last day of Ramadan, and he went out to Mina on the day before that, and he spent the night in Mina on the night of the second of Shawwal, and he stoned the pillars and did what the pilgrim does. What do you say about this Hajj? It is invalid and a religious innovation. Why? Because it is not in its proper time. This act is worship, but now it occurred outside its time, so it becomes a religious innovation.
