Explaining the method of feeding ten poor people.

The Shaykh : And how do you feed them? Feeding them has two forms. The first form is that you feed them food that is not cooked, and the amount is a quarter of a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) for each person. So how many sa' is that for ten people? It is two and a half sa' for the ten. If they are separate, give each person a quarter of a sa'. If they are a group in one house, give them all the two and a half sa'.
The second form is that you prepare a lunch or dinner and give them lunch or dinner. You give lunch to the ten or give them dinner, and by doing so, you have expiated your oath.
