Giving the expiation to a household containing ten poor people

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 8065 )
Q 4: Regarding feeding ten poor people as the expiation for an oath: if one finds a household to whom charity is permissible, and their number is ten or eight, is it permissible to give the family the number of persons, with each person receiving half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg)? Or, if they are in need, is it permissible to give the entire amount to a household of fewer than ten people?
A 4: It is sufficient to give the food for the expiation of an oath to ten poor people, with each person receiving half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) of wheat or the like, whether they are from one household or not. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
