Tafsir of Surat al-Kafirun: The meaning of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "Say, O disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : As for Surat al-Kafirun, Allah commanded His Prophet to disavow the worship of the polytheists, so He said:
(1) Say, "O disbelievers, (2) I do not worship what you worship. قل يا أيها الكافرون * لا أعبد ما تعبدون
[Al-Kafirun 109:1-2]
What do the disbelievers worship? Idols, trees, stones, the sun, and the moon. He says:
(1) Say, "O disbelievers, (2) I do not worship what you worship. قل يا أيها الكافرون * لا أعبد ما تعبدون
[Al-Kafirun 109:1-2]
meaning, I do not worship what you worship; I am innocent of it.
