Is it permissible for a woman to recite aloud in the prayers where recitation is loud if she is praying alone in a room by herself where no one can hear her?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is it permissible for a woman to recite aloud in the prayers where recitation is loud if she is praying alone in a room by herself where no one can hear her?

The Shaykh : One should look at which is more active and more reverent for her: to recite quietly or to recite aloud? If it is more reverent for her to recite quietly, she should recite quietly; and if it is more active for her to recite aloud, she should recite aloud. This is provided there is no one around her who can hear her from among the men who are not her mahram (relatives one may not marry). Otherwise, she should recite quietly in her recitation, because it is not befitting for a woman to raise her voice in the presence of men. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If something happens to you in your prayer, let the men make tasbih (saying Subhan Allah) and let the women clap their hands. إذا نابكم شيء في صلاتكم فليسبّح الرجال، ولتصفّق النساء

The questioner : May Allah reward you. The questioner is from al-Qasim.
