The Meaning of the Poet's Statement: "You have made the description of Him, the Exalted, *** by His being above the worlds, and His exalted attributes which were established for Him *** by reason and transmitted proof, part of the composition, and then you denied *** their content without any proof. So you made the means to denial *** this terminology, and this is transgression."

The Shaykh : Then the author said:
"You have made the description of Him, the Exalted, *** by His being above the worlds
and His exalted attributes which were established for Him *** by reason and transmitted proof"

You made them
"part of the composition, and then you denied *** their content without any proof"
You made the attribution of attributes to Allah a matter of composition, and you said that composition is impossible in the case of the Creator. Call it whatever you wish; we affirm for Allah a Self and we affirm for Him attributes. Whether you call it composition or not does not concern us. He says:
"So you made the means to denial *** this terminology, and this is transgression"
What?
"You made the means to denial ***" Denial of the attributes of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
"This terminology, and this is transgression"
"But if it is said that this is a later terminology, *** there is no objection to this for any person
We say: Your denial of His attributes by this terminology *** is the most false of falsehoods"

That is to say, if you said this is a later terminology, we would say there is no harm, but we do not deny the attributes of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, by it. And Allah knows best.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions. I think we stopped
