Explanation of the Rule: That when Allah attributes an action or description to Himself, He is uniquely distinguished by it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And this rule, which I mean that when Allah attributes an action or description to His action, He is uniquely distinguished by it, was mentioned by Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) in Mukhtasar al-Sawa'iq al-Mursalah, and this is the reality:
Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens إن ربكم الله الذي خلق السماوات
[Al-A'raf 7:54]
The creation of the creatures emanates from Him because He attributed it to Himself, so whatever Allah attributes to Himself is truly for Himself, but this does not contradict the perfection of His attributes, and Allah knows best.
