Explanation of this rule: Every attribute that Allah ascribes to Himself contains an indication that it is not like the attribute of a created being, with examples

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : We said: Every attribute that Allah ascribes to Himself, we must say:
There is nothing like unto Him ليس كمثله شيء
[Ash-Shuraa 42:11]
, that Allah is not like anything. We do not need to argue using the verse:
There is nothing like unto Him ليس كمثله شيء
[Ash-Shuraa 42:11]
Rather, we say that the mere ascription of it to Allah contains an indication that it is not like the attributes of created beings. As we said, if we did not argue using His saying:
There is nothing like unto Him ليس كمثله شيء
[Ash-Shuraa 42:11]
... Okay, we said, for example, the hand is ascribed to a camel and to an ant, and no one can understand that the hand of the ant is similar to the hand of the camel. Is it necessary for us to say that the ant has a hand that is not like the hand of the camel? If you said that, people would think you are foolish. People would think you are foolish. You need to deny that it is like the hand of the ant; it does not require that. So when Allah the Exalted says:
Rather, both His hands are extended بل يداه مبسوطتان
[Al-Ma'idah 5:64]
He ascribed the hands. Can we understand that they are like the hands of created beings? No. So mentioning the evidence that indicates the denial of similarity is from the category of what? It is from the category of confirmation, as we mentioned to you from Thabl, and I have repeated this to you.
So I say that the one who likens Allah to creation is also stained with what? With the blood of distortion, because the evidence of the Book and the Sunnah regarding the attributes of Allah does not indicate likening Allah to creation at all.
