And his Book is light, and so is his Law *** Light, just as the one sent with the Criterion (this is a spiritual light)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And his Book is light" Allah the Exalted said:
and We have sent down to you a clear light. وأنزلنا إليكم نورا مبيناً
[An-Nisa 4:174]
But it is not a physical light; rather, it is a spiritual light. Whoever Allah fills the heart with this Qur'an is illuminated and becomes as Allah the Exalted said:
like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west كمِشكاة فيها مصباح المصباح في زجاجة الزجاجة كأنها كوكب دُري يوقد من شجرةٍ مباركة زيتونة لا شرقية ولا غربية
[An-Nur 24:35]
This is the highest example for the parable of light.
Like a niche. كمشكاة
What is the niche, O Adam? Zuhayr
The student: The lamp is hung upon it.

The Shaykh : It is hung upon it, what?
The student: ...

The Shaykh : The niche in the wall, you know it. I mean, we will leave it for tomorrow, if Allah wills. Allahu Akbar.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
The author said:
"And light is also among His names, and among *** His attributes. Glory be to the One of the clear proof.
Ibn Mas'ud said words that al-Darami *** narrated from him without denial.
There is no night for him, nor is there a day *** I said: Under the ship, these two are found.

We stopped here.
The student: And his Book is light.

The Shaykh : Yes, he said: "And his Book is light"
The student: Like a niche.

The Shaykh : Yes. "The light of the highest heavens is from His light, *** and the earth, how are the star and the two moons?
From the light of the Face of the Lord, Exalted is His Majesty, *** and so al-Tabarani the Hafiz narrated it.
The Throne and the Footstool were illuminated by it, along with *** the seven heavens and the rest of the creations.
And His Book is light, and so is His law *** Light, just as the one sent with the Criterion.
