You made affirmation likening and ascribing a body to Allah, and this is the height of slander (another example is the denial of the attribution of a body)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He said: "You made affirmation likening and ascribing a body to Allah, and this is the height of slander"
You said that whoever affirms has likened, because affirmation necessitates ascribing a body to Allah. How? They said: The attributes are accidents. An accident does not subsist except in a body, and bodies are similar to one another. So if we affirm an attribute, we must affirm a body, and if we affirm a body, we must liken.
So they denied the attributes from this perspective. Is that clear, everyone? Well, then what harmed them here was the generalization of the term denying a body. Had they distinguished, their affairs would have been correct, but they generalized the denial, and because of this generalization, they denied the attributes of Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
