(Clarifying that the one who denies the attributes is the most deprived of the pleasure of the remembrance of Allah) and that their affirmation is the foundation for this remembrance, and the one who denies them is a caller to forgetfulness, so that is why he was the successor of Satan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And their affirmation" means their affirmation for Allah, Mighty and Majestic. "Is the foundation for this remembrance" because a person cannot remember his Lord with His attributes unless he affirms them, for how can he remember Him with attributes he does not affirm? For this reason, we find that those who deny the attributes are deprived to the utmost degree of the pleasure of remembrance, because they do not believe that Allah has a Face, a Hand, mercy, joy, remembrance, laughter, or wonder. So, may Allah protect us, they are deprived of the pleasure of remembrance, for in reality, as Ibn al-Qayyim said in the introduction to al-Nuniyyah:
"The one who denies the attributes worships"
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Not "non-existence, and the one who likens Him to creation worships an idol", and he (may Allah have mercy on him) spoke the truth. Yes, he says:
"And their affirmation is the foundation for this remembrance, and the one who denies them is a caller to forgetfulness"
The one who denies them calls people to forget the remembrance of Allah, because if they do not affirm the attributes, they do not remember Allah.
"So that is why he was the successor of Satan" means that this one who denies the attributes was a successor to Satan, because Satan turns people away from the remembrance of Allah, and this one turns people away from affirming the attributes, and thereby from the remembrance of Allah, Mighty and Majestic.
"No welcome to the successor of Satan", and no welcome to Satan. No welcome to the successor, and no welcome to the one followed. Yes, yes.
