"Sharpen your heart" means make it proficient in the texts, just as they have been proficient in opinions for a long time. When the heart is concerned with the two revelations, the Book and the Sunnah, it attains happiness in this world and the Hereby through them. He said:
"And kohl the eyelids of the heart with the two revelations, and b—***—eware of their kohl". With what do they apply kohl? With opinions and nonsense. For this reason, blindness is prevalent among them. He said: "O many are the blind"
From where? From what? "O many are the blind", those who applied kohl with opinions and nonsense. As for the one who applies kohl with the revelation, he will be one with clear sight, possessing strong vision.
