Do not testify falsely, and woe to those who compel the testimony of falsehood (Those who impose on the people of the Sunnah and the community obligations they did not state, such as affirming attributes for Allah, said:

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"Do not testify falsely" To whom is this address directed? To those who impose on the people of the Sunnah and the community obligations that are not obligatory for them. For example, they say: If you affirm that Allah is established above the Throne, it necessitates that He be limited, because the one who is established above a limited thing is limited. This does not necessitate for us. If they say: If you affirm the Face and the Hands, it necessitates that you affirm that Allah is a body composed of parts. This does not necessitate, because Allah is not like anything. And if it is said that the face of a garment is its front, and we know that it is not like our saying "the face of a man," is that not so? And if Allah says about some of the Children of Israel:
Believe in the One آمِنُوا بِالَّذِي
What?
that which was revealed to the believers at the beginning of the day and reject it at its end أُنْزِلَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَجْهَ النَّهَارِ وَاكْفُرُوا آخِرَهُ
[Ali 'Imran 3:72]
He said:
the face of the day وجه النهار
So He made for the day a face, and it is known that the face of the day means its front. So he says:
"Do not testify falsely, and woe to those who compel the testimony of falsehood".
