Q7: One person incited another to oppose a man and testify against him with falsehood and lies, and fabricate statements , and indeed this man gave false testimony. Is it permissible for the other, who is the wronged party, to curse these two men who gave false testimony and lied with prayers for calamity, illness, and the cutting off of their offspring, etc.?
A7: False testimony is among the major sins. You may call upon Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) to take revenge on them for you to the extent of the injustice they have committed against you. However, if you pardon them, that would be better. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
