The Shaykh al-Halabi’s interjection regarding some of what is written in *Al-Muslimun* magazine and others.

Al-Halabi : This writer, our Shaykh, is not actually new; I have heard of him or read some of what he wrote more than eight years ago. He used to write articles and such in *Al-Umm* magazine in the past. However, in the recent period, the man has started to shine and has been given a great deal of prominence. All of his writings are purely ideological. In fact, in *Al-Bayan* magazine, he now has a full page called "The Last Page." Also, in *Al-Muslimun* magazine now, he has a dedicated corner and column. This writer is named Jamal Sultan. So, our brother Mashhur, when he saw—or rather, when he saw his new book published by the Islamic Studies Center in Birmingham, which is affiliated with *Al-Bayan* magazine, by Muhammad Sirr al-Zayn al-Abidin, titled *Fiqh al-Harakah: The Principles and Preliminaries*—he said, "Perhaps this reveals some things, or something similar to that."
