The questioner explains the nature of the disagreement with Safer and his group.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : We did not consider their honor inviolable except for what we believe to be the truth. That is one point. Second, we refuted them only in the matters where we thought they were wrong. We wished that one of them would refute us, but they did not. They hid and tried to scheme againstThe Shaykh : Abdul Aziz, and they actually schemed. They went and prepared a statement regarding the situation of Salman, Safer, Nasir al-Omar, and Aayd al-Qarni. By their own admission in the tapes, they placed it. You may have heard an explanation of the statement onThe Shaykh : and they attacked the scholars and accused him of false accusations. Safer said, "These are unknown people. Who are these unknown people?" And Salman al-Oudah says, "It is enough that Allah has blackened their faces." You will not find from me or from our scholars that we cursed them in the place where we refuted them. We only mention the position and refute it. They started with cursing when they explained the statement. The Shaykh : Salman said, "It is enough that Allah has blackened their faces." Safer said, "These are unknown people." But they have the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Muslim Brotherhood. But their speech is only about the Muslim Brotherhood. They have nothing else. It is in the tapes.
Shuqara: The Muslim Brotherhood.

The questioner : Yes, this is what Safer said in a tape in his explanation of the statement. He said, "The Muslim Brotherhood, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Muslim Brotherhood. But they have no speech except about the Muslim Brotherhood. What is the Muslim Brotherhood?" Konar said, "The Muslim Brotherhood. Konar, the Muslim Brotherhood is behind it. But everything is behind this Muslim Brotherhood. Even, O brothers, the statementThe Shaykh : of Abdul Aziz is like this, with these very words. You are free to listen. I will not actually make you listen, but the tapes are available. I will give them to you, and you will hear them in your free time. He said, "Even to the point that they will say now that we are the ones who issued the statementThe Shaykh : and that we were the ones behind it, and that the Muslim Brotherhood was behind it." This is what he says in the tape. He repeated it more than once.

The Shaykh : Is there in some of their tapes a response from them to the Muslim Brotherhood by name?

The questioner : No. Rather, Nasir al-Omar, in a tape of his in Ramadan, titled "Fiqh of Da'wah in Ramadan," praised a book by the Muslim Brotherhood titled "The Muslim Brotherhood and Nasser: The 1965 Organization." He did not name it "The Book of the Muslim Brotherhood and Nasser." He said, "O brothers, a new book has come out by an author named Ahmad Abdul Majid. It is a beautiful book. It depicts how the preachers were tortured and what was done to them in the era of Nasser." And so on. I heard the tape and saw the book. When he says, "All the bookstores are stocking it," in the tape, or that the book was actually stocked, the book was indeed stocked. I purchased it, and I found that the book is by the Muslim Brotherhood. The author praises the call of the Muslim Brotherhood, specifically the call of Sayyid Qutb, which began in prison. He mentions the principle: "We cooperate on what we agree upon and excuse each other for what we differ upon." But he says this is not in matters of creed, but in differences of methodology and movement. And so on. There is no harm in this principle. Then he contradicts this on the following page, saying, "And the difference in creed does not obligate one of us to the other. We sit and consult. You do not obligate me with your books, and I do not obligate you with my books. We proceed in kindness and advice." Nasir al-Omar praises this book. They never mention it. Rather, Abdullah al-Abaylan in Ha'il sat with Safer and said to him, "O Safer, I told him, 'O Shaykh Safer, you are now in your first meeting. You are accused of being from the Muslim Brotherhood. Disassociate yourself from this accusation.'" He said, "I am not from the Muslim Brotherhood. But I want to say a word to you." Of course, he started speaking and went on to praise. He said, "No, there are no more Muslim Brotherhood now. Salafism is sweeping the whole world, so there is nothing called the Muslim Brotherhood." He said, "Yes, there is nothing." And he mentioned to me Abbas Madani before the fitnah in Algeria, and before the first fitnah in the Gulf. He said to me, "Abbas Madani and Rashed al-Ghannushi." They mentioned Ali Belhadj to me. I said, "I accept Ali Belhadj for you. As for Rashed al-Ghannushi and Abbas Madani, I do not accept them for you." He said, "How can you say Salafism is sweeping the world? We find that Salafism now, all the Salafi gatherings in the world, are being fitnah-ed by this new Muslim Brotherhood thought, dressed in the clothing of Salafism." So of course, he said, "There are no Muslim Brotherhood." Then he said, "Later, O brother Khalid, he answered me. He said, 'O brother Khalid, you do not see that speech about the Muslim Brotherhood is useful. We only present the truth that we have. We do not say that the Muslim Brotherhood has faults, nor that the Tabligh has faults.'" I said, "You say this, O Abu Abd al-Rahman?" He said, "Yes." I said, "It obligates you in your lessons on the Tahawiyyah to mention only the methodology of the people of the Sunnah. You do not mention the principles of the Mu'tazilah, nor do you address them. You do not mention the principles of the Asha'irah, nor do you address them. And what was said in your treatise that you wrote on the Asha'irah, because he is now refusing to reprint it. And this is a very beautiful treatise. Safer is refusing to reprint it. In fact, you can hardly find it. And when some bookstores photocopy it, they say, 'Look,The Shaykh : there is an obstacle to photocopying it. Why is all this? Moreover, his students now, Safer says, Muhammad Aman, and he is studying the Wasitiyyah. He has nothing but the Asha'irah, the Asha'irah. It means the matter has gone beyond them, because they do not want this speech. This has gone beyond them. So Safer said to me, "This does not obligate me." I said to him, "Why does it not obligate you? If we are silent about the Muslim Brotherhood, we are also silent about the Asha'irah. We only clarify the truth." He said to her, "It does not obligate me." I said, "If it does not obligate you, there is a contradiction." So he was silent. They never hardly find them naming the Muslim Brotherhood or criticizing them. Rather, they try to soften the atmosphere and clarify that the disagreement between us and them is only a disagreement in some political aspects, and that they are the people of the Sunnah. Rather, Safer, in a tape with me in my bag, Safer says, "These groups are from the people of the Sunnah." This is openly. And he says, "The fact that they differed with us in something, we do not say that they are not from the people of the Sunnah." This is explicitly. And Salman, of course, in his tapes, many. Nasir al-Omar, I am not one who follows him much. I have not followed him except in his explanation of the statement. I have not heard from him except four tapes: "Fiqh of Reality," "Die of Your Anger," and his explanation of the statement in another tape, I do not remember. But this is what I heard. Aayd al-Qarni, I do not hear from him much. So the point is, they do not accept speech about the Muslim Brotherhood. Rather, the original matter that expanded the issue is that they do not want speech about the Muslim Brotherhood. They do not want Abdullah al-Abaylan. I used to say, "You went to Safer." I said to him, "You are now accused of being from the Muslim Brotherhood." He denied it about himself and said, "I am not from the Muslim Brotherhood." And he said so and so. He said to him, "Okay, we want you to speak about the Muslim Brotherhood." And this is recorded. The Shaykh : Abdullah al-Abaylan said it in a tape. Safer al-Hawali told me four months ago that he is not from the Muslim Brotherhood, and I believed him. And he promised me that he would speak about the Muslim Brotherhood and detail their methodology and expose them completely. And until now, he has not done so. This is how they go and bring a Salafi. They go to him and say, "O Shaykh Safer, I used to walk with the Muslim Brotherhood. What do you think? Should I walk with them?" He sees a Salafi and knows from his conditionThe questioner : that he is a Salafi, so he brings him and says, "No, do not walk with them." He goes to another one who is a Muslim Brotherhood member, and he brings him an answer: "Walk with them and advise them, so and so." Many answers. This has been going on for five years. The matter did not start a year or two or three years ago. This speech is old, from five years ago. He is speaking this speech. And he does not accept it. Rather, now the Muslim Brotherhood, he is getting closer to them. He goes to lecture in their mosques. If only he would lecture about the Salafi da'wah that he claims to be Salafi in regarding methodology. As for his creed, he is Salafi. He goes to the mosques of the Muslim Brotherhood and lectures in them, and he lectures only about political issues. And when we present to him meeting with your brothers and your Salafi scholars, he refuses and evades and gives appointments, appointments. AndThe Shaykh : Jamil al-Rahman, nine appointments. Safer evades them and does not fulfill them. Nine, according to what my brother Muthar al-Suri told me. He says, "I am the mediator, and withThe Shaykh : Rabee, I testify. It may be close to ten, if it has not reached ten, he has not metThe Shaykh : Rabee and descended to the city, and he has not met withThe Shaykh The Shaykh : Rabee' was looking for him in Makkah, in Jeddah. "I'm coming to you, Shaykh, after the afternoon prayer. I'm coming to you tonight for 'Isha'. I'm coming to you after Maghrib." He kept saying this. I proposed to him, saying, "Shaykh, I am a traveler. I want to sit with you. I want you to give us some of your time. We want to sit with you once, twice, and three times." Every time, he would make an appointment with me and then break it, saying, "Oh, by Allah, I forgot. Oh, by Allah, I got busy." And every time, I would say, "Shaykh, I am a traveler." Even in the last meeting with...The Shaykh : Muhammad al-Banna, we met. I said to Shaykh Muhammad al-Banna, and Safar was standing next to him, "Shaykh Muhammad, I want you to intercede for me with Abu 'Abd al-Rahman so that he accepts to sit with me. I do not want to eat with him; I want to celebrate him. They accuse me of attacking Safar, so I want to prove the opposite. I want to gather Safar and arrange a da'wah meeting for him, and bring our Salafi youth to ask him questions and discuss with him on the issues. I do not want more than that." So he attacked me in that gathering on the roof. He said, "Who is asking for intercession, Khalid? Am I, or are you? I am the one asking for a meeting with you, and you are refusing." I could not bear the truth when he said this. I said, "This is a lie, and the proof that it is a lie is that so-and-so was with me on such-and-such a day, and so-and-so was with me on such-and-such a day, and you did not come to us when you promised, and you did not come to us."The Shaykh : Muhammad al-Banna got angry with me, and I have a temperament that includes some sharpness, and I ask Allah to forgive me for my anger. The Shaykh : al-Banna said, "Leave this for now." I said, "Shaykh, we are now with people standing, and it is as if I am the one refusing the meetings, and this is what he is portraying. Then I discovered that he is portraying to others that he is the one requesting the meeting. And the truth is, there is no god but He, that..."The Shaykh : Muhammad Aman, by Allah, did not speak or respond to him on any point. By Allah, he tried to meet with him and used others as intermediaries, and I interceded, and he strove...The Shaykh : to meet with Safar in any place. He said, "He wants me to come to his house. He gave me an appointment to come to his house, even though Safar is counted among the students of the students of..."The Shaykh : Muhammad. I was happy for Safar. I was the intermediary. I said, "Shaykh Safar..."The Shaykh : Muhammad Aman, so-and-so, so-and-so. He said, "I do not meet with..."The Shaykh : Muhammad Aman. Why? He said, "I do not meet with..."The Shaykh : Muhammad Aman. You do not know what he said about me. I said, "What did he say about you?" He said, "He said about me that I take instructions from Saddam." I said, "I seek refuge in Allah." He said, "Yes." I said, "Do you have a recorded tape?" I said, "Are you sure, Shaykh Safar?" He said, "Yes." I said, "If I prove it to you, by Allah, we will not accept this, and he must retract, because how can he build this up?" So he said to me, "I have the tape. Where is the tape?" He said, "It is there." He referred me to one of the young men, a man named Fayyad al-Sharif. I went to him. "O Fayyad..."The Shaykh : Safar referred me to a tape you have, so-and-so, saying that you came to seek a reconciliation for me with Muhammad Aman. So he said to you...The Shaykh : Safar said, "Muhammad Aman attacked him and accused him of taking instructions from outside the country, and Muhammad Aman gave you the tape, and you heard the tape with your own ears. In it is the voice of Muhammad Aman. So I went to Muhammad Aman and said to him, and he denied it. Then I brought Muhammad Aman and he heard the tape, and it fell from Muhammad Aman's hand. He said, 'No, no, put the tape away and call the recordings.'" This is what Safar said to me. And he said, "Take the recordings." So the man swore and took an oath by Allah that this is a lie and not true. And not a single part of it happened. And he said, "I am now going to Safar." I said, "Go." As for me, I said, "Go." As for me, I tell you this is what happened from him, and the man says, "He said, but..."The Shaykh : Muhammad Aman, before he sat down, and we were at the appointment, and Safar excused himself at the last moment, saying, "I am not coming." So I passed by Shaykh Safar and told him, "I went to the brother Fayyad, and the brother Fayyad did not find what you say with him. And now the matter is two things: we want you to gather with..."The Shaykh : Muhammad Aman and agree on the disagreement in the first fitnah of the Gulf. I said, "Shaykh Safar, I smell the scent of division in Jeddah, and it will spread. And I mean, I say, let us fear Allah the Exalted and Majestic. You are a professor of 'aqidah, and you have an effort that is appreciated, which no one can deny. And this..."The Shaykh : Muhammad Aman now has an effort. Gather and try so that no fitnah occurs, and unite the ranks. He said, "I am still insistent that Muhammad Aman apologizes to me publicly on a tape." I said, "Apologize to you for what?" He said, "For what he said." I said...The Shaykh : Muhammad Aman says, "Prove the accusation the first time. And if it is proven against him and it was not true, then you may apologize. But he says, 'Prove it.' He says, 'But he knows in the end.'" I said to him, "Okay, and the situation remains division. What do you think is the solution?" I said, "I believe the solution is that you gather at..."The Shaykh : Muhammad Aaman says, "Prove the accusation the first time. If it is proven against him and it was not true, then he has the right to apologize. But he says, 'Prove it.' He says, 'But he knows in the end.' I said to him, 'Well, the situation remains that the split is like this. What do you think is the solution?' I said, 'I believe the solution is that you gather at..."The Shaykh : 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Baz, and I go." I said, "If..."The Shaykh : Muhammad Aman does not object, but I ask you for a request. He said, "What is it?" I said, "I asked..."The Shaykh : Muhammad Aman that I direct a question to him in one of the meetings about Safar and about the lessons of al-Tahawiyyah, and that...The Shaykh : he will praise the lesson of al-Tahawiyyah and will praise you in a way, and will encourage the youth to attend your gatherings. So I hope that you do the same action. He said, "No, I will not do it. We meet at..."The Shaykh : 'Abd al-'Aziz the first time. I said to him, when he did not agree, I said, "This is for you, but I said to him, 'I, Shaykh Safar, I said to him, so-and-so, and I named for him Majali al-Buq, 'Abd Allah al-Ghamidi, Muhammad 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Tayyar, and I mentioned to him names. I said, 'These are among your special ones. Now they are roaming in Jeddah and turning the youth away from Muhammad Aman. In fact, Majali al-Buq, who is one of his senior callers, said, "I will not be at peace until not a single student remains with Muhammad Aman studying al-Wasitiyyah." And I went and verified with Majali, and I said to him, "Fear Allah in yourself." So Majali said to me, "He said this." I said, "Yes." He said, "You are taking me by Majali's words." I said, "No. Allah, Glorified and Exalted, will hold people accountable, but I ask you, Shaykh Safar, to advise him." He said, "Where do I meet him and advise him?" I said, "Subhan Allah, on Sunday, you have from after 'Asr until after 'Isha." He said, "By Allah, I do not meet with them, and I have no words with others." So I said, "Okay, Shaykh Safar, we meet at..."The Shaykh : ...Abd al-Aziz. The first time, when he did not agree, I said, "This is for you, but I told him, 'O Shaykh, I am traveling.' I told him, 'So-and-so,' and I named for him Majali al-Buq, Abdullah al-Ghamidi, Muhammad Abd al-Aziz al-Tayyar, and I mentioned to him their names. I said, 'These are among your close associates, and now they are roaming in Jeddah, inciting the youth against Muhammad Aaman. In fact, Majali al-Buq, who is one of his senior callers, said, "I will not find peace until not a single student remains with Muhammad Aaman studying al-Wasitiyyah." I went and verified this with Majali, and I said to him, "Fear Allah regarding yourself." So Majali said to me, "He said this." I said, "Yes." He said, "Will you hold me accountable for Majali's words?" I said, "No, I will not hold you accountable. Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, will hold people to account. But I ask you, O Shaykh, to advise him." He said, "Where am I to meet him and advise him?" I said, "Glory be to Allah, on Sunday you have [time] from after the afternoon prayer until after the night prayer." He said, "By Allah, I do not meet with them, and I have no concern with the words of others." So I said, "Well, O Shaykh, let us meet at..."The Shaykh : 'Abd al-'Aziz. Muhammad Aman will tell you, saying, "As long as you refused the meeting with me at my house or at your house, let it be at..."The Shaykh : 'Abd al-'Aziz, andThe Shaykh : 'Abd al-'Aziz and say, 'Shaykh 'Abd al-'Aziz, Muhammad Aman wronged me and said so-and-so and so-and-so.'"The Shaykh : ...Abd al-Aziz as soon as possible. Let it be tomorrow. There is no obstacle to him returning from Jeddah to Medina and going up to Riyadh. He said to me, "Safar, did he say this to you?" I said, "Yes." I went and said, "O Shaykh Safar, I hope you will hurry. Go to..."The Shaykh : Muhammad Aman, and the matter will be resolved by the senior scholars. They will resolve...The Shaykh : 'Abd al-'Aziz, and he is the father of everyone, the head of everyone, and everyone loves him. He said, "And..."The Shaykh : 'Abd al-'Aziz will judge in the matter, and the students will be silent, and no one will speak, neither good nor bad." He said to me, "Okay, we agreed, and we agreed." And then he went and told 'Abd al-Wahhab. They spread rumors in Jeddah. Of course, the meeting was delayed. "Shaykh Muhammad, did anyone from Riyadh ask you to Shaykh 'Abd al-'Aziz?" He said, "No. Did anyone ask me...?" He says, "No." And then we heard the rumors in Jeddah that Muhammad Aman asked Safar for a meeting at 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Baz. So Muhammad Aman, with the same first lie, fell from his hand, and he retracted and feared the meeting at...The Shaykh : 'Abd al-'Aziz. And this is a lie. I tracked this story and tracked from whom these rumors came, and I tracked their chains until I reached Safar, and it came out of his mouth. He conveys it from him. His senior students convey it directly from him, saying that Safar tells people that he requested the meeting from Muhammad Aman at the people's place, and he refused, and at his house, so when he requested it at...The Shaykh : Muhammad Aman, he retracted. And this is a lie. This did not happen. So we felt that the matter contains injustice, and it contains slander, and it really contains tarnishing the reputation of the people of truth. On the assumption that you differed with him, on the assumption of who started, then they stopped. They did not respond to him. Shaykh Muhammad Aman responded to him on a tape, and he responded...The Shaykh : ...Abd al-Aziz. And this is a lie. I followed up on this story, and I traced where these rumors came from, and I traced their chains of transmission until I reached Safar. It came out of his mouth, and his senior students transmit it from him. They narrate directly from him that Safar tells people that he requested a meeting with Muhammad Aaman in front of people, but he refused. And when he requested it at his home, when he asked him at...The Shaykh : 'Abd al-'AzizThe Shaykh : ...Muhammad Aaman, he recanted. And this is a lie. This did not happen. So we felt that there was injustice in the matter, and there was fabrication, and there was indeed a tarnishing of the reputation of the people of the truth. Assuming you disagreed with him, assuming who started it, then they fell silent. Shaykh Muhammad Aaman did not respond to them. He responded to them on a tape, and...The Shaykh : ...Rabie responded on a tape, and...The Shaykh : ...Muhammad ibn Hadi responded on a tape, and so-and-so responded on a tape. We said to them, "Respond to them." They fell silent until [it] was issued. The Shaykh : Abdul Aziz al-Bayan and they were behind al-Bayan, then they interpreted it in a single moment. They insulted, disparaged, and spoke, saying a hateful word. And yet, no Salafi responded to them, and you hardly find a Salafi who insults them or attacks their reputations or persons. We speak and say, "This is our methodology." We speak about Safer; they defend Safer with a fierce defense and do not accept a word against him. They publish his books, magazines, and tapes, and do not accept [criticism]. We began to speak about Safer and say, "This is his methodology; it is not a correct methodology," and we clarify the creed thus and so. They do not accept this. It is an expansion, an expansion. We tried to fix the matter. The point of what I mentioned is that I, and I am speaking about myself and others, have made an effort. I am certain, and I have names of those who made an effort. I made an effort, in fact, I proposed to him and said, "What is your opinion? Let us meet."The Shaykh : Muhammad Ameen in a meeting at my place in the courtyard, and all the youth would be present. Let them bring your students and Muhammad Ameen's students, so that when the students see thatThe Shaykh : they are together, no one speaks a word until you all gather atThe Shaykh : Abdul Aziz's place. He refused and did not accept, and we are still in that state today. If there is a meeting, we have no objection. The Shaykhs have no objection at all, on the condition that it is a meeting attended by scholars who sit and discuss. This did not happen, and we made an effort. When there was no benefit, a person, in terms of religion, moves to the next stage. After advising the man and trying to meet with him, he moves to advising the people. We found all the youth lost; the Salafi youth were corrupted by them. So now we advise the people and clarify. At the same time, we have not insulted, and we are still today—I speak about myself and about many of my Shaykhs and many of my brothers—by Allah, if they return to the methodology of truth and the methodology of the Salaf, by Allah, they are our brothers, and we place them on our heads from above, and we do not say a word against them. We respond to everyone who hates them and responds to them. But as for them contradicting us in methodology, no, no, no. We must respond and clarify. If they prefer a meeting, we have no objection. This is what I wanted to clarify.

The Shaykh: May it be good, if Allah wills. Well, Professor, this heat that drove you to seek or attempt contact with Safer, why do you not do the same with the others?

The questioner: The truth is, I think they all follow Safer. In my view, they all follow Safer.

The Shaykh: Yes, that is the error. Do you not know His saying, the Exalted:
and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another ولا تزر وازرة وزر الأخرى
[Al-An'am 6:164]
This expansion of the issue is also contrary to the methodology, in your own expression, contrary to the Salafi methodology. If Safer makes promises and breaks them, as you report, and you are truthful, but why the others? The experience did not happen with them as it happened with Safer. This is also contrary to the Salafi methodology.

The questioner: There is no doubt, but it was not arranged for me, but others did this, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh: Why do you blame them for what you experienced from Safer?

The questioner: It will become clear to others what I have understood now. It will become clear to others in the future that they will not come out.

The Shaykh: My brother, may Allah guide you. You say, "It will become clear to you." I tell you, it is not permissible for you to say that as long as you have not seen it.

The questioner: I have witnesses that they do not deviate from his speech and that they are committed to one thing.

The Shaykh: My brother, his speech, in terms of jurisprudence, in terms of thought, is permissible, but here in matters concerning morals and these affairs, you are accusing him of them, and then you are measuring the others by him in these matters.

The questioner: I do not say that they are lying, but I say they will not accept the meeting. They will not say, "We will make an appointment with you," and then break it. No, they will not accept the meeting, butThe Shaykh : Rabee sent his book "The Victorious Sect." He sent it to Salman and presented it to him, saying, "Look at the book and give me your opinion on what is in it." Salman has not responded to him to this day. Salman has not responded at all, and I know this. Salman has not responded. Rather, Aayidh al-Qarni came to him and said, "O Shaykh Rabee, do not publish your book. Rather, I tell you, there was a meeting attended by forty people with a wretched partisanship." Safer said in the meeting, and it was attended by the manager of the Awareness Office, Ali al-Hakami, and Faris al-Uqla, and a large group of mosque imams who follow them, and some of our Salafi brothers who were deceived. He said to me, "By Allah, O Khalid, they are putting you up to something incredible." He said, Safer said a word. He said, "O brothers." He said to them, Ali al-Hakami said, "O Shaykh Safer,The Shaykh : Abdul Aziz is pressing me with his calls and faxes. Cooperate with the people of Madinah and give them lessons in hadith."The Shaykh : Rabee, and I do not know what to do. I am afraid I will give a lesson that causes an exam. Muhammad Ameen's lesson has caused us enough trouble. Please arrange for me one in hadith." He said to him,The Shaykh : Safer. And Ahmad Zahid tells me this story, and then Sami al-Khayyat conveyed it to me. He said, Safer said to him, "I have the lesson, but who will provide me with the tapes?"The Shaykh : Nasser, and the tapes that come to me in the recordings of al-Bayan at Umar Suhayl's place. He said to him, Faris al-Uqla, "I will provide you with the six tapes of the partisanship you brought." Faris al-Uqla went into the recordings of Umm al-Qura, gathered these tapes. These are tapes of the partisanship, six tapes, and tapesThe Shaykh : of Ali, and tapesThe Shaykh : of Rabee, and tapesThe Shaykh : of Muhammad Ameen. They all scattered. You do not fear Allah. He gathered them all. Al-Uqla said that day, "I will provide for you." Then Safer said, "O brothers, there is another problem. Who will provide for us to go to Madinah and stop the press that prints the booksThe Shaykh : of Rabee, which contain the methodology of the people of the Sunnah in criticizing and evaluating the sects and men, and his response to Salman? Who can stop it?" He said to him, Faris, "I will, and they will try. They are trying to stop these books. These are all actions and witnesses indicating that the issue is truly a wretched partisanship, and they aim for something behind it. These are actions, and I have stories like these; if I were to recount them, it would be long. And I think you have, if Allah wills, a truthful person. If I were lying among you, there would be no need for me to speak. I know this, and I am ready. And you will hear from many of our Salafi brothers who have heard and seen with their own eyes.
