Continuation of the discussion on the ruling for one who prayed while in a state of ritual impurity: does he repeat the prayer or not?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And considering that he was first among the Rightly Guided Caliphs, whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to follow in their Sunnah along with his Sunnah, in the famous hadith of al-'Irbad, in which he says:
You must therefore follow my sunna and that of the rightly guided Caliphs فعليكم بسنتي وسنة الخلفاء الراشدين المهديين من بعدي
Mishkat al-Masabih 165Sahīh (Zubair `Aliza'i)
So, looking at the fact that he was among these Rightly Guided Caliphs first, and considering that he said this statement to the people present from among his Companions, and no one refuted him with the previous evidence in the first scenario, we said that it is necessary to distinguish between the one who remembers during the prayer, in which case he performs ghusl or wudu' and continues, and the one who remembers after the prayer, in which case he must restart the prayer after purifying himself. This is what needed to be clarified regarding that question. Please proceed.
