The ruling on one who prays without ritual purity while forgetting

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner says: O Shaykh, if I prayed without performing the ablution for prayer while forgetting, and I did not realize it until after finishing the prayer, what should I do?

Answer:
Yes; you must repeat the prayer if it was an obligatory prayer, and there is no sin on you if you were forgetting. You must repeat it; because of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Salat will not be accepted without purificationلا تقبل صلاة بغير طهور
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1Sahih (Darussalam)
And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The prayer of none amongst you would be accepted in a state of impurity until he performs ablution.لا تقبل صلاة أحدكم إذا أحدث حتى يتوضأ
Sahih Muslim 225
.
So the point is: a state of minor or major ritual impurity invalidates the prayer. If you became in a state of minor or major ritual impurity, then you prayed while forgetting, you must repeat it. Likewise, if one becomes in a state of minor or major ritual impurity during the prayer, or if urine comes out of him while he is in prayer, his prayer is invalid; he must perform the ablution for prayer and repeat the prayer. Yes.
