A man who wants to go to jihad in Bosnia with his parents' permission, but his wife does not agree: what is the ruling?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner says, "O honorable Shaykh, if a man wants to go to his brothers in Bosnia, and his family—specifically his wife—refuse, but his parents agree, what is the ruling if he goes?"

The Shaykh : What I see is that he should not go, because the right of the wife is obligatory, and because if he travels away from his wife and she has refused it, there may be conflict between them, and she may come to dislike him, or perhaps something inappropriate may occur on her part when he is absent from her. Caring for the children and the family and looking after them is obligatory. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
All of you are shepherds and each of you is responsible for his flock كلّكم راع وكلّكم مسؤول عن رعيّـته
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 212
. And the right of our brothers in Bosnia and Herzegovin is that we ask Allah, the Exalted and Sublime, for their honor and victory. We ask Allah to honor them and grant them victory over their enemy.
The audience: Amen.

The Shaykh : And we bring you good news, according to what has reached us, that, praise be to Allah, today they are fighting as attackers, not defenders, and that Allah has set the Croats against the Serbs, so that some of them are killing others. This is undoubtedly a result of the supplications of the Muslims. So you should increase your supplication for them, at every time when a response is hoped for and in every state when a response is hoped for. And Allah, Mighty and Majestic, is capable of all things.
